6th Series - Flight B

Flight B 6th series a water triple, double blind, and an honor.

This test is set up along the edge of a pond. Mark #1 is thrown from left to right angled back. This bird lands on the edge of the pond in tall cover and there is a little splash as the bird hits the ground due to the heavy rain from last night.

Mark #2 is the far right bird. This is a live flyer thrown from right to left angled back. Aiming for the far corner of the pond, preferably landing in tall cover on land but some flyers are landing in the open water.

Mark #3 is the middle mark. This is a bridge mark thrown from one point to the opposite point. A flat throw from left to right.

After the marks are retrieved a double blind is required. First, the land blind which is the easier of the two blinds. By invitation, a water blind is required. This is a very challenging blind. There is one up and out point, tight behind the go bird gun station. Tight to the bird from mark #1 and through some tall reeds if the dog stays to the left. Open water you can see the dog the whole way to the opposite point but if the dogs stays in the reeds you will loose sight of the dog.

Lastly, the handler and dog must honor the working dog on the flyer side of the judges.
