The 5th series of Flight B is a land/water triple with a diversion bird. This test looks very challenging.
The marks are left, right, middle. The line sits on top of dike overlooking a long skinny pond. The left mark is thrown down the left edge of the pond into some medium cover. The next mark is the far right mark and this is also the longest mark in the test. The go bird is a bridge mark throwing over a piece of water on to the tip of point.
As the dog returns with mark #3 a diversion bird is thrown out ahead of the dog. Most dogs would pick up the diversion bird next, go for mark #1 and try and get the longest mark #2. The diversion bird did have an impact on the longest mark #2 and basically wiped out their memory of it, however, some dogs did this test with little difficulty.
