3rd Series - Flight B

Flight B series 3 is a land/water test with a single land blind. This is a walkup test. As the handler and dog teams come out of the holding blind and walk a very short distance a bird is launched from behind a tree around 40 yards and lands on the edge of the shoreline.

Next is the middle flyer. This bird is thrown out onto a point of land and the line to this bird has several water re-entries.

The go bird is the left hand bird. This bird is thrown from a tree line out into the field. A small stream of goose decoys are around 20 yards in front of where the bird lands. After the dog retrieves this bird and diversion shot occurs as the dog heads back to the line.

After the marks are picked up a single land blind is required to complete the test. There is some small rolling small hills to navigate in the first half the blind. The middle of the blind you need to keep the dog in sight and not have them disappear behind the live flyer station and the end of the blind requires keeping dogs on line in the broad open field.

and that mark is #1 on the left side. Next is the middle flyer and the go bird is on the right. There is a diversion shot. Land blind is set on a line behind the flyer.

More information after test dog tomorrow.
